Not many repairers are prepared to have the patience to patch and repair worn or damaged leather goods. It is a time consuming process often involving pulling the original stitching and lining apart first in order to gain access to the items problem.

Zips often have to be delicately unpicked then new ones carefully replaced. What can seem a simple repair to the eye can often take several hours of disassembly then reassembly to achieve the finished job.
